I photograph, people, places and products because I enjoy the range of subjects. Each subject brings to the frame its special requirements.

With people it is usually the right mood. So if it is the company director with little time or the little child with no patience the adrenaline rush kicks in to bring something pleasing to the final picture. And I am a firm believer in team efforts so there are never any “spectators”on shoots. Everyone has their part to play, even if it is just entertaining conversation.

With places it is more important to get the right light. And in some ways they can be the most frustrating to get right because if you are using day light to bring that wow factor to your building then waiting and revisits are all part of the mix.

With products you use angle and lighting to bring out their features in hopefully one shot.
But even things can be “moody”.
